How we got your contact information
If you've received an email from a Navigent customer and you're wondering how they got your contact details, this page explains our data practices in plain English.
What is Navigent?
We're a Danish B2B platform helping small businesses identify and contact relevant business prospects. Customers use Navigent to find and reach out to other businesses. They are the senders of any email you received. Navigent provides the data and the infrastructure; the decision to email you was made by our customer.
Where we get business contact data
- We source verified B2B contact information from established European data providers that are compliant with GDPR.
- We enrich that data with publicly available company information, such as a company website, public profile, or industry directory listing.
- We do not scrape personal social media. We do not collect consumer data. We do not buy lists from unverified brokers.
What we hold about you (likely)
- Your name.
- Your business email address.
- Your phone number (typically a direct work line or mobile).
- Your job title.
- Your employer's name and country.
- Publicly available company-level information about your employer (website, industry, short company description).
We do NOT hold:
- Home addresses.
- Financial or payment data.
- Special category data (health, religion, political opinions, sexual orientation, etc.).
How long we keep it
Maximum 90 days from when we first sourced your record. After that window, your data is permanently deleted from our active systems, backups, and logs. If our customer continues to use the data within their own outreach workflow after that window, they are required to delete it as well under our Acceptable Use Policy.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you (Art. 15).
- Correct it if it's wrong (Art. 16).
- Have it deleted (Art. 17).
- Restrict how we use it (Art. 18).
- Receive a copy in a portable format (Art. 20).
- Object to our processing on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 21). This is an absolute right.
You also have:
- The right to opt out of all future contact via Navigent customers, with one request (we add you to a global suppression list).
- The right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
Quick actions
